Chennai, India = Traffic!!!


My first trip to India was not exactly wonderful.  The country has a lot to offer but I would not recommend Chennai.  First of all the traffic was so bad that just commuting from the hotel to the city was a waste of several hours round-trip.  Even walking on streets was very chaotic, no usable sidewalks and motorbikes whizzing through everywhere.  Also, the landmarks were a bit disappointing considering the great sites to visit elsewhere in India.  Thankfully our hotel was a peace haven away from the chaos of the city.
