Hotel Tambo del Inka = Urubamba Peru


After Lima, we went higher in the Andes Mountains which is so high elevation that we needed a few days to recover and allow our body to adapt to the lack of oxygen.  Thankfully the hotel provided lots of healthy foods to adjust quicker to high altitude because they are experts in living in such conditions.  This hotel was the stopover point we used before going to the crown jewel of our trip to Peru: Machu Picchu.
