Vientiane, Laos = Close Cousins to Thailand


Laos is probably the country which is the most similar to my birth place country Thailand.  The alphabet and the language are both very similar to the Thai alphabet and language.  Even the TV has many Thai channels and because Vientiane is so close to the Thailand border, the phones with Thai sim cards also work!
